We celebrated our birthdays there last night. We enjoyed the service and most of food. The asparagus and sides were not great but main seafood entrees were good.

We had dinner there tonight for a friends birthday. There was no wait at about 5 on a Saturday so that was great. Warm welcome and we ordered off the early bird menu. We had she crab soup for an appetizer and I had the two beef medallions dinner. Both are excellent for the price. The service was nice she was just really busy so she wasn’t very attentive but food was very good and it has a really nice view. We’ll be back. Four people two apps,4 meals, plus 3 bar drinks $104! Very affordable

In an effort to find my way off the island (Garden City) we stumbled into this great find. $13.95 early dinner special, before 5PM, starts with loaf of fresh bread, side salad, 2 - 3oz filets, 2 siides, potatoes any way you want, and green beans. It sits overlooking Murrells Inlet from the beach side. Their Key Lime pie is from the Keys, Jacks Stone Crab restaurant. Outstanding!

The atmosphere is a blend of casual and fine dining. Unfortunately we arrived too late for their early bird menu. I had heard how delicious the filet medallions are. They weren't on the regular menu so I opted for the grouper francaise. Oh my. It was fabulous. Looking forward to my next visit.

Beautifully multi-leveled wood styled restaurant... great staff from the front door to the dinner table, and deliciously delectable food... that is all you need to have a really good restaurant. But GulfStream takes its location to a new level. It is winter, and it is cold, but you feel incredibly comfortable at your table looking out a huge wall of windows at the marsh and all the well lite restaurants across th water in Murrells Inlet. As an added bonus, you can watch the setting sun and the beautiful orange glow on the horizon. This is what makes a good Restaurant transition to a great restaurant. We each ordered different entres for dinner, and everyone was tickled pink with their selection. The Chef and all of their staff was working hard last night. If the view, the food, and the serenity is great in the winter, just imagine how wonderful it is during the spring and summer. GulfStream is so highly recommended... they are a 15 on a scale of 1 to 10.
