This lighthouse is a neat attraction. It is not a working lighthouse, but more of a museum to local history in a unique setting. The story behind the lighthouse and the eco-friendly history of Hilton Head is encased inside the lighthouse walls. For less than $5 you can climb the stairs of the lighthouse and read its history. Hilton Head is home to PGA tournaments, so there is some interesting golf history too.

Nice place to stroll around with friends and be relaxed. The area has lots of quaint shops, good restaurants, and live music (the night we were there).
We did have to pay $6 to park. It is $4.95 to go to the top of the lighthouse. We did not do that. The views from down below were good enough for us.

Beautiful area. Right on the water, quaint shops, restaurant, marina, and the view! Looking out at the water you can see fish jumping, dolphins playing, parasailing, and the ships coming into the marina. A must stop when visiting Hilton Head!

This lighthouse used to be free to explore and enjoy. Now you pay $4.25 per person to climb 114 steps to see a lighthouse that was always meant to be decoration. Super disappointing and overly commercial.

*I have been to the top of this structure for a nice, FREE view in the past, but refused to spend the money last week.
