Stayed here with another couple for a week trip to our favorite island! Swallowtail is adequate but very tired inside and out. Price is ok but the pool is small and there's absolutely no resort type of amenities. The positive part is the back part of the units overlook a golf course. There's definitely better options on Hilton Head Island!

When first getting there we just got there after a hurricane came through two days before. There was a lot of debris on ground as expected but seen workers cleaning roads off and trying to get cleaned up around place. Once we open front door we are greeted with a musty smell like dampness and thought oh boy what did we get into! So we go in and luckily had some Lysol to spray to help with smell. We went ahead and unpacked and stayed but once looking around seen some black mold on ceilings in spots and was concerned about it so went to desk and person didn't seem to worried about it and just said let maintenance know. Never said sorry or anything. So maintenance came down but never did anything for mold just took filter from furnace/air condition and sprayed something to help with smell and brought a piece of glass that was missing from one of our end tables. With all that said I think this resort needs some serious attention in there units! At this point I would not stay there again until fixed. Other surroundings like pool and hot tub area was nice. There was a lot of of stuff to see and do within walking distance which was nice. Also I would recommend renting a bike for the week. There are paved trails that you can ride pretty much anywhere on island. This is really nice where you can look at all the golf courses and nice house on island while walking or riding on trails. Really relaxing and nice while riding. With that said all I ask is a little more attention to units and I would've gave at least 3-1-2 to 4 stars for my review.

This older townhouse was the backdrop for a very nice family vacation. The two full bathrooms looked to be recently remodeled. Our teens stayed in the downstairs bedroom while we occupied the upstairs master bedroom. The unit also had a pull out couch on each floor. (Families with smaller children may not like this layout). Loved having a full sized washer and dryer in the kitchen. An outdoor pool and hot tub is available and cleaned once a day though there is no lifeguard on duty. My kids enjoyed watching the two alligators in the lagoon. Great convenient location as you are within walking distance of great restaurants. Recommend renting bikes for the week. There is also a free trolley that runs most of the day and stops right across the street from the townhouse. The free wifi was very weak much to the chagrin of my teens. Hope to have the opportunity to stay again.

Room Tip: The town homes are 2 levels which might impact those having difficulty with stairs

Check in was seamless, friendly and informational!

The unit (2 bedroom/2bath) was BIG!! We exchanged with Interval International and this was probably one of the largest units we've ever stayed in. Clean, so comfortable! The master bedroom and bath was exceptional! The location was fantastic. We overlooked one of the greens. We biked everywhere! SO MUCH TO DO!!

There was a PGA golf championship being held right there during out stay and initially I thought we might be put off with crowds it was nothing like that!

I would absolutely definitely go back there.

Just returned from Hilton Head and really enjoyed this resort. We had a two bedroom, two bath condo on the 12th hole of the Heron Pointe golf course. Excellent size kitchen, well equipped. comfortable living room, with plenty of space and plenty of seating. Dinning room table would seat 6. One bedroom with twin beds and the master bedroom with a king bed and sitting area. Master bath shower was huge.
Condo was clean, and seemed well maintained. there were a couple cracks in the tile floor and the carpet was a little older, but these issues did not present ANY problem at all. The furniture was all in good repair.
The resort is very large, miles of walking and bike paths, short walk/drive to the Harbor Town lighthouse. A 500 acre forest preserve was also nearby. Three golf courses (one is currently being renovated) are also part of the resort. Greens fees are expensive, but the courses are high end.

My wife and I plan to return soon, and I would highly recommend this condo group to anyone.
