We were looking for restaurant with some southern sophistication without having to go into Charleston. This place for the bill.

Great night out with my family sitting on the patio enjoying a nice bottle of wine which was suggested by our wonderful server James Gault. He was very knowledgeable about wine and the food. He convinced us to come back for dinner and it was great too. Thanks to Kory Ivey and Kris Yates for their hospitality! We would recommend dining on the patio under the Edison lights and ordering the MAC N CHEESE! We had it a few different ways and it was really YUMMY!

We selected Crave for our 8th anniversary dinner simply based on the menu - entrees we would both appreciate and good reviews. Our experience far exceeded our expectations.
Starting at the entrance, all of the staff were so attentive. Our waitress Elizabeth could not have been more gracious, attentive, knowledgeable. We were amazed by her ability to expand on the menu, the ingredients in every dish - didn't miss a beat. We did tell her it was our anniversary and Corey acknowledged that with a special treat.
The food - First we had to try the mac and cheese as an appetizer - renowned. It was rich and just the best ever. We ate only a bit and decided to take it with us so that we could enjoy our entrees. Mine was the maple planked salmon and my husband's the short ribs, was just so delicious. We don't know how it could have been improved. Then came dessert! The apple crisp with vanilla ice cream - decadent - but we ate it all.
We left Crave to take a walk after dinner and decided we would try to be here for our 9th anniversary. It is really special when everything is so perfect.

Wow the staff and food where awesome. We started with the she crab soup and it was the best we had while visiting the Isle of Palms area. Dinner was melt in your mouth steak with crab on top for me and scallops for the wife. The scallops came as 3 but they were big, fresh and delicious. I can't wait to visit again.

The famous Mac and cheese, which was excellent. Other than that it was a mixed bag. Desserts were good, service was nice, but the entree was a disappointment. The pork sounded so good, but it was definitely overcooked. One positive I noted in multiple Charleston restaurants is that they don't jack up the prices for bottled wine, so you can get a decent bottle for about $35.
