This restaurant was suggested for our evening meal although the person making the suggestion had not been there before. The main dining area is nicely furnished and presents a pleasing atmosphere. We were greeted immediately and seated right away as there were not many patrons at this dinner hour (~6:00 pm). The waiter indicated that this was the first time on the floor for him but he was attentive and when asked a question for which he did not know the answer he found out right away. Our order of broiled sea scallops was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Other entrees of shrimp scampi and of the 'blacken shrimp amore' were equally well done and scrumptious. The portions were relatively small but that would leave room for dessert. Although not inexpensive, this is a place to return to for an elegant meal.

We have eaten at Twelve multiple times. We were there Saturday January 11th around 8pm. When we walk in only two tables with people eating. We sat in the bar area. We ordered Crab Cake appetizer. We order Pork Chop Entrée to share. Crab Cake was not a crab Cake, more like Crab Pate. Not good. We were told they were out of sweet potatoes and vegetables. But then bartender come back said they had both. When the meal was bought to us. Pork Chop was very small and thin. Vegetables no good. Roll you buy at the grocery store. They need to do something fast.

My wife and I had dinner at Twelve. Overall it was a good experience, with a few caveats.

First the ambiance of the place is very nice. Nicely decorated, interesting assortment of table/chair styles that give it a nice charm. The bar area is also very well done.

We were greeted as soon as we entered. There were a few other couples but it was still early (6:00) so not busy yet. We were seated promptly, and our waitress greeted us and took our drink order.

We had the Crab Cake appetizer. This was disappointing. The crab was not a "Cake" rather it was all broken up, like it didn't hold together in the pan, and was drowned in the remoulade. The sauce was very tasty but there was just too much of it.

Salads, were good. The house special "Green Goddess" dressing was very tasty. The dinner rolls, were a bit of a let down. They seemed to be your standard grocery store white bread dinner rolls.

For dinner we had the Sea Scallops with risotto, and the Shrimp Penne Amore. From a flavor standpoint both were excellent. The risotto was very well done, but the accompanying zucchini and summer squash were over cooked and mushy. My wife was disappointed that there were only 4 small scallops in the dish.

My Blackend Shrimp was very well done, the 4 shrimp were good sized and the sauce was excellent.

The service was good but a bit slow. There seemed to be only one waitress on and as the place filled up later in our meal, we had to wait while she cleared and set tables.

Overall not a bad experience. Prices were reasonable, and portion sizes were nice. A sign said that they had just changed management, so we'll write off any bad points to new management. We will certainly give them another go in a month or so once the have a chance to settle in.

We eat here about once a month. Yes, service can be uneven, but food is usually very good and the dinner and drink specials are great. Definitely an overlooked restaurant but give it a try, focus is on what is in season and the menu varies.
