Have been on all the gulf stream trips in the area and found this one the best though with a few recomendations. Mate crew was great, better and more attentive than the other boats (I was a mate myself once so that's a great compliment!) Best fishing yet as well. Location is good for more fish time, less travel time then the others to deeper water. Not a 5 rating though for several reasons. Food options compared to some of the other boats is poor. Gear condition is also not as good. Rods are fine but the reels were on their last legs. BUT the biggest complaint versus the others is the sinker weights. Some people caught a lot of fish, others hardly any and there was one common theme..those that caught had 12 oz sinkers, those that didn't had 10 oz sinkers and many tangles were caused by those with 10 oz sinkers. I proved it when I gave the guy next to me a 12 oz sinker and he started catching a fish on every drop. I brought my own 14 oz and limited out on 3 kinds of fish. If you can bring one of your own!

A very nice location, fantastic boat, and expert work getting us out parasailing safely. That’s the most important thing! There were 8 of us in our family, with 6 parasailers and 2 riders. Small issue— They asked us to be there 30-45 minutes early, and we were there, but 20 minutes after our departure time there was still no captain. The first mate, Eric, was fantastic, started music, and eventually went and found the MIA captain. It was awkward and the captain did not apologize or explain, and was very taciturn. Still we had a great ride, and Eric’s attitude made a big difference. They probably should not tell people to get there 45 minutes early, and know that you might have to ride tandem if the wind picks up, but that was fine with our group. Nice to get GoPro videos for $40. Would recommend!

Hi Mhersey,

There are a couple of reasons we ask guests to arrive early. 9 times out of 10 they run into traffic, have difficulty finding parking, or have a late start to their day. And that's OK! Because as long as they get here after only a slight delay we can still get the waivers completed and get them down to the boat on time. We know most people parasailing with us are not familiar with the area and we would rather be safe then sorry.

I do apologize that the Captain was a bit late... Sometimes if we have a busy day they have no chance to eat/drink/or use the facilites but we really do apologize that he was delayed.

Looks like Eric was the star of the day and I am glad to hear you guys were still able to enjoy yourselves and still recommend us. We hope you join us again!

Crazy Sister is a great place to go for a fishing trip. The deck hands are great, they are very polite and helpful. We did the 1/2 day morning trip.
