Is time of the year there aren't a lot of people waiting to dine but we were told it would be about a 20 min wait so we went into the bar for a drink and by the time we paid for it our table was ready. From the time we sat down the hostess and everyone that waited onus were very friendly, professional and genuinely cared about us having the best possible dining experience possible. Our parties dinner included the Damons cut prime rib which was huge and delicious. A chefs sald that was overflowing and one of their nightlly specials which was the trio, grilled chicken, pulled pork and baby back ribs... we started with a bowl of she crab. Generous helpings of crab and great flavor just a little salty.. still very flavorful and delicious. The prime rib as mentioned before was cooked to perfection and was very tender and foul of flavor. The tri was good although the ribs were little dry but tender and flavorful.. we all took plenty of leftovers back to the resort for he next day so actually got two meals for the price of one, This was my first time here after hearing from someone in our party that dined here last year. I was not disappointed and will be back on our next visit.. average prices for a seafood no steak restaurant on the beach.

We chose Damon's because we really did not want to drive to dinner. It is next door to Crown Reef; one can choose to walk along the street on the sidewalk OR there is easy access from the beach as well. We ate at Damon's both nights we were in myrtle beach. Service was very slow. The first night we were a party of 5 adults, 4 kids. We arrived just after 6 and were seated farily quickly. We waited at least 30 minutes to order our food and then waited 30-45 min for our food to come to the table. We were done around 8.
The second night, we were a party of 4 adults, 2 kids. We arrived around 6:45. We waited 45 minutes for a table and then service was again slow. We didn't leave the restaurant until after 9.
Everyone at both meals agreed the food was good. Just really slow
They do have a children's menu - only complaint is that french fries were the only side listed. We asked and they allowed us to choose applesauce instead, but it was a very small serving. Kids menu prices seemed reasonable, but what the kids were served did not compare in quality to what the adults were served.

My husband and I️ visited this evening for his 50th Birthday! The food was Amazing and Robert gave us the best service that I️ have ever had in a restaurant. This Restaurant is a must. The ribs and steaks were perfect.

My wife & I visited Damon's this past week in celebration of her birthday. Damon's very generously grants the b-day person a free meal; great marketing ploy & much appreciated by the public...BUT, they really should advise their customers that Prime Rib is not eligible for the B-day promotion! My wife ordered a Queen Cut and was told that they had sold out of PR for the evening. This is at 6:30PM. No problem, she ordered a Rib Eye and I, a rack of BB ribs. Both were good. As were exiting the restaurant we noticed that the table adjacent to ours was served Prime Rib diners. We asked Colton, our waiter what was up. He mumbled something unintelligible and we began our exit thru the dining room where we noticed other diners enjoying the PR. Look I get it, a free BD meal is great but you need to be more direct with the public. No one is going to question your excluding PR from the free BD meal selection but to not be straight with your patrons is unforgivable. Colton, my man, you served us well except for the PR deception. Do yourself a favor & work for a more reputable restaurant. By the way Damon's, your joint needs a good interior cleaning especially the gummy disgusting menus. Overall, food was good, service was OK, cleanliness & management poor, resulting in an overall dining experience of barely average.

Good place for lunch or dinner. Right on the beach. Had the saved prime rib sandwich. Fries were a Little greasy
