Nice easy walk with a nice view. Watch for dog droppings allowed by ignorant dog owners. Not more to say, after all, it is just a bridge.

We liked the "walking" bridge and we're thinking it'd be nice to walk it in the summer! Lots of people out, just enjoying the stroll, scenery, pet walking, bicycling and street performances.
A sunny stroll on the wooden floorboards of this scenic bridge makes you aware of the role of water, specifically the Tenessee River, in this pleasant southern town. You can see the art museum on the bluff and go from old historic to new and modern--including the glass peaks of the acquarium on the other bank. An excellent walk.
A trademark of the city, a fresh air kinda vibe, “grammable”, approach from both ends. I recommend checking it out on various times before or after sunset or sunrise to catch the vibe you want for your photos.
A beautiful view without the fear of being run over by traffic. Watch out for bicycles, but a great walk leading to a nice park and a carousel ride.
My husband and I walked the bridge in the evening and just enjoyed the views after dinner. The ice cream place at the downtown end was a nice treat! The following day we rented bikes and rode the bridge which was also a nice experience. Something slower paced and a nice experience in the downtown area.
