Terrific food, cocktails and wine served up in a comfortable, pretty but unfancified atmosphere. Staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Sit at the bar and you can see a good deal of the cooking. These guys stay busy fixing paella (very good), bacon-and-blue-cheese stuffed dates (outstanding), amazing foie gras with an inventive prep twist, steaks, and all sorts of small dishes. Cheese selection underwhelmed a bit due to being too cool and the bread accompaniment was just okay.
They have some interesting signature cocktails for $8. I can vouch for the cointreau caipirinha. The wine list is not huge but they have plenty of choices, both by the glass and bottle. Fair value and prices. The friendly owner Gema offered to serve me by the glass even though the menu called for bottle only on a particular wine. She made sure to check in how I liked it.
