Description: What constitutes "New South Flavors?" For us, it is begins with reverence for those time-honored Southern dishes. Served up by wonderful home cooks for years. We respect the freshness, the flavors and the food itself. But we like to jazz it up a little, add something deliciously unexpected to delight your palate. Our interpretation of traditional Southern fare is creative, inventive and satisfyingly scrumptious. Cheers to New South Flavor!

Tupelo Honey knows its niche--simple, traditional dishes served with flair in a friendly environment. The restaurant is located in the interesting Warehouse Row complex at the south end of downtown Chattanooga, so it is well positioned for lunch or dinner after some shopping. Service was from the usual 20-something English Lit major but fully adequate. Food was delicious and served with generous portions. I think of Tupelo Honey as a mixture of the best of Cracker Barrel meets Applebees.

In town for our daughters cheer competition and decided to go in for breakfast on a Saturday. Had the shoo omelette, and it was indeed pretty good. This place is somewhat pricey, so if you are looking for a quick inexpensive breakfast, I’d suggest something else. Overall it is a very nice restaurant and food is very good

We make it a point to eat at Tupelo every time we visit Chattanooga. The food is decadent, so bring your appetite. I recommend the Sweet Potato pancakes, the Pimenta Cheese Burger. My husband loved the Pull Pork Grill Cheese Burger. It's in a beautiful building. But most importantly, the customer service is outstanding. Last time we were there we were gifted a complimentary dessert, honey & cookbooks. We love to cook so this will be great addition to our cookbook collection. If you love southern food, then you will not be disappointed.

I liked the food here. Tasty eats and good quality is served and amazing service. However, not many vegetarian options as almost everything contains a meat product of some sort...not sure why southern chefs think this is necessary in this day and age.
