Authentically prepared food, one-of-a kind atmosphere to complement a quiet dining experience. Be sure to reserve your table. The restaurant is very popular with the locals who can count on delicious entrees, paninis, entree salads, and pastas year after year.

Stagecoach was recommended to us by a local we met on the golf course. I read the reviews in advance and was suspicious, but we decided to give it a try since there are not a lot of very good local restaurants. We had a reservation and were seated promptly, but only by the "host" pointing his finger and saying "you're over there." It took a few minutes for someone to come to the table and we were given menus and asked for water with lemon while we perused the menu. Things went downhill from there. We sat there for at least 30 minutes before someone (now a young man). We ordered our dinners and two glasses of wine. The chilled wine was served within 5 minutes, but another 15 -20 minutes went by before our salads were served. We ate our salad (not bad, but no choice of dressing even), and then sat there another 10 minutes with no attention. I asked the male server if we were going to see our dinner anytime soon and he said yes. Several minutes later our dinner was served. The meals were good, but not outstanding. No one even came by to inquire if we liked or had other questions/issues. After completing our meal, we sat there for about 5 minutes until someone came to the table to inquire if we wanted desert. We said no and asked for the check. Several minutes later the female server who had originally given us menus and taken our order for water, came with the check and said the restaurant was "comping" the wine since we'd had to wait so long. This restaurant has potential, but it appeared they were short staffed for servers (three handling the entire restaurant which was pretty busy). Same staff were trying to bus tables and play host/hostess. This could be a reflection on owners, not really knowing how to run a restaurant or just cheap.

Party of 16 made phone reservations & sent email menu choices. When we arrived they claimed no one there took our reservations & they did not have an email. They did find us a place to sit, on the 2 floor. & started waiting on us. They gave us an empty pepper shaker after we had to go down stairs to request them. Also had to ask for napkins. Service was spotty but think waiter was doing best, food was slow to arrive. We ordered house pizza 16" & it was good. Salad was strange. Others said their meals were good but some small portions.Gave them the benefit of the doubt & rated them VG. They close at 8:15pm

Met few couples for dinner. First, service was beyond slow. I would maybe suggest another waiter/waitress perhaps. Second, the food was really barely fair. Was edible but not that great. Third, for the very slow service and just fair food, the prices are just way out of the ball park! I will stick with fortes or gondolas when craving Italian from this point on. I will add though, the ambiance was nice.

A welcome surprise outside of Crossville and certainly worth the 15 minute drive. From romantic to "girl's night out" this was perfect.
