We were 3 couples out for dinner so put at the top end of the restaurant, but had to book as gets very busy. The service was very good and friendly and we went back 2 days later as we each wanted to try what somebody else had on our first visit. Both evenings were very good and a lovely atmosphere quite bright as it has low ceilings. All freshly cooked and served hot

This place is a hidden gem typical oldie pud serving local beers and food our hotel recommended this place and we were not disappointed, on arrival we were seated quickly and straight away we were asked what drinks we wanted and given the menu, with a few minutes our drinks were brought to the table a wide range of food on offer here plenty of fish dishes which the majority is local produce, our food came quickly nice and hot and presented nice, all the dishes are priced very reasonably we were so pleased with the old smugglers inn we decided to go for Sunday lunch and again we were not left disappointed. Friendly landlord and smiley faces, highly recommend you will not be disappointed, John & Paula.

We were staying in St Aubin and this pub was a pleasant 30 odd minute stroll away. We had it recommended by a local and so was keen to try it. Good beer, good food (plentiful) served by friendly and helpful staff. Also the pub is in a great location next to Ouaisne Bay which in itself is only a stroll away from St Brelade. We ended up dining here twice - thought it was great!

My friend and I tried here after it was highly recommended, and what a great find!!
Really unusual interesting and wonderfully old fashioned lay out. Beamed ceilings, traditional touches on the walls, a really cosy comforting place to eat. Staff attentive and friendly. Efficient and quick service. Had the breaded Brie to start between us which was more than enough! Generous portions! I had the special board king prawn curry and my friend the beef burger. Both wonderfully generous portions and taste to die for! Couldn’t manage desert!! Lovely walk along the beach back to st Brélade. A gem of a place xx
