Pros
-The hotel was at a lovely location overlooking the beach and sea.
-Staff were very friendly and always there to help
-Didn't eat at the restaurant, but the Bar food was very tasty
-Breakfast was very tasty
-Plenty of parking space
-Lovely outdoor seating

Cons
-Long walk down the beach
-No views from the room we stayed at and the size was ok, so it felt like we overplayed.
-Breakfast buffet could do with some bread for toast and croissants. You can order them for free from the staff but other hotels on the same price range have those items on display.
-Car rental is required unless you want to spend your holiday at the hotel or you like walking (up and down a hill)

Room Tip: Choose a room with a view

I have had a most enjoyable stay at the Windmills Hotel.
The location of the hotel, with truly breathtaking views of St.Brelades Bay. The gardens, with a lovely terrace and pool make it a very comfortable stay.
The meals are so very well presented, with attention to detail and a superb selection at breakfast, with healthy fresh fruits and an array of juices and a good choice of cooked breakfasts. The evening meals are highly recommended and the quality is of a very high standard.I enjoyed all the meals and the desserts are delicious. I had a wonderful seafood dish with seabass and scallops and mussels- outstanding. The mango panna cotta was wonderful.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming.Again, their attention to detail - five stars !

My room was comfortable ( number 44, a single room ), at the front of the hotel. It was quiet and it had a good shower, tv, well stocked tea / coffee making facilities.

I am hoping to go back later in the year. It will always be the only hotel for me to stay at on Jersey. This was my first visit to Jersey.I will be recommending the Windmills Hotel to my parents, as they love Jersey and I know that they will love this spot of paradise.

We have visited Windmills many times and you really cannot fault it. The staff are so attentive and caring and nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel is spotlessly clean and feels so right from the moment you arrive. The food is excellent with a good choice at both breakfast and evening meals. There are snacks available throughout the day that are more like full meals. The view from the dining room and sea view rooms has got to be one of the best in the world. The location is brilliant being among quiet residential properties.

Having stayed once before at this lovely little gem of a hotel in one of the large rooms facing St. Brelade's Bay, this time we were at the rear of the hotel purely as it was the only available room when we booked. That said, it was more than adequate for the purpose and, as ever, kept superbly clean and well cared for by Housekeeping.

The food is first class in the hotel, both breakfast and dinner is always tasty, plentiful and a great selection so thanks to the Chef and also Monica and the other Service Team members who are efficient, attentive and helpful. The views from the Dining Room are easy on the eye and so relaxing, a great environment.

Thanks to the ever great Marius, along with equally lovely Miguel, who we met this year, who tend the Bar professionally, efficiently and with a great sense of humour; nothing is too much trouble for either gentleman.

The grounds of the hotel are maintained beautifully and there is just a lovely atmosphere to the hotel; it is so comfortable and easy.

Jane, Steve and Annie (who we also met for the first time) are friendly, helpful and genuinely want to make your stay as relaxing as possible. I asked for a birthday cake to be arranged on our first day for our friend's special '0' birthday - wow! what a cake that turned out to be and our friend was both surprised and thrilled!

Sincere thanks to all at The Windmill Hotel, we had a wonderful time, as did our friends, and we will be back!

Room Tip: The rooms at the rear of the hotel have a magnificent view of St. Brelade's Bay - heavenly!
