This hotel is excellent, very clean, good buffet breakfast, staff very helpful and polite, rooms spacious and comfortable. The views of St. Brelades Bay from the terrace is spectacular, couldn’t wish for a better location.
Looking forward to returning next year.

Room Tip: We liked rooms 142 & 144 great views of the bay

Lovely quiet hotel in ideal setting with lovely views over the bay. Staff were friendly & breakfast was very good.
Caters more for older people & no bar facilities.
Situated on a hill but only on a good bus route.

Room Tip: Request sea view.

This year we again stayed at the Biarritz and as usual at a loss to find different words .to .describe the hotel, food excellent as with the whole experience at the Biarritz. The staff from Management down are helpful and friendly and are there to help with any needs you might have. The only thing missing was a Good Sunset for the photo album and even the Biarritz couldn't make one happen!!!!!

Room Tip: If possible book rooms overlooking the Bay

Visited Jersey on a number of previous occasions but this was my first stay at the Biarritz. Stayed for nine nights on a bed and breakfast basis from Weds 16 May, checking out on Fri 25 May.

I found the hotel to be of a very good standard with the public areas - lobby, lounge areas and dining room etc decorated to a high standard.

I stayed in a sea view single room which had an excellent view across Brelade’s Bay. The room was clean, tastefully decorated with plenty of storage space and a good-sized shower room.

There is a lovely terrace with great views of the bay and gardens with access to the beach.

I found the buffet breakfast to be excellent with the food nicely cooked and hot (which is not always the case with buffets).

Didn’t eat dinner at the hotel so cannot comment. (I like to try different restaurants whilst on holiday and there are a number within a short walk and more in St Aubin - a longer walk down the back lanes or a short bus ride.)

I found all the hotel staff to be friendly and approachable.

Have noticed some previous negative comments about the hotel, regarding the age of the clientele and the hotel’s Christian ethos. I am 50, not a religious person and deliberately staying outside of school holidays.

As far as I was concerned the religious element was kept very low key and unobtrusive. Yes, there were morning prayers but If you didn’t wish to partake there was no problem with that and it appeared most guests continued eating breakfast completely unaware of the fact that they were taking place.

With regard to the age of the clientele, the majority were older than me but isn’t that to be expected - it is Jersey after all, not Ibiza. There were a couple of families staying with very small children during my stay but as previously stated it was outside school holidays.

I was more than happy with my stay and would definitely stay at the hotel again.

Room Tip: Book a sea view room - great views across Brelade's Bay

Look no further if you want a memorable relaxing stay in Jersey, The Biarritz Hotel is that place. We have just returned from a week's break on this beautiful island and our holiday was made all the better staying here.

From the moment that we arrived, we were met by Jamie at reception, who kindly offered to take our luggage up to our room for us. As he led us through the hotel we had to stop and admire the panoramic view that was in front of us from the dining room, what a lovely location to have your meals in.

The decor and furnishings are spotlessly clean, contemporary, airy and bright in pastel shades of yellow and blue with picturesque prints adorning the walls of local landmarks, many of them beaches and coves which compliment the hotel perfectly. The Christian ethos gives this hotel a calm, relaxing feel to it and short prayers take place in the mornings if you wish to participate, although this is never forced on you if you do not desire.

We were fortunate to stay in a room with both a sea view and balcony and I would certainly recommend upgrading to this because the view is something very special. Looking out over St Brelade's Bay, one of the nicest beached on the island, we would fall asleep at night to the sound of the waves gently breaking on the shore. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows soft. The room was beautifully decorated, again with lovely prints of beaches and seascapes on the wall to enhance that coastal feel. One of the favourite parts of the hotel for us was the terrace, with an elevated position that gives you a wonderful sweeping view of the bay, where you could just sit and watch the world go by. The hotel has their own steep private path through a tiered garden that leads all the way down to the beach.

We found all of the staff both professional and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they worked with smiles on their faces which was nice to see. Gary the Head Chef serves up delicious food whether that was a hearty breakfast, high teas or evening meals. The hotel is unlicensed but you can bring your own alcohol and reception will chill it for you without incurring any charge.

Wi-Fi in our room worked very well and there was a flat screen television with various channels. Tea and coffee making making facilities were very handy and the tea bags, coffee and milk were topped up every morning. The room had a beautifully finished bathroom with large shower and mirror with surrounding lights for illumination, the towels were changed every morning. There was also a lift if required to all floors.

We hired a car but there are good transport links, there is a bus stop that takes you to the airport or into St Helier and there is also an ample sized carpark that we managed to park in throughout our stay at the hotel.

Duncan, the General Manager was on hand to help with any of our queries and we also spoke with both Heather and Michelle who both helped out with a couple of our requests.

Jersey is such a picturesque island which is so easy to get around only being 9 miles x 5 miles and being only a 40 minute flight from London, is ideal for a week or even a weekend break. Some places to visit include, Plemont Bay with a cafe at the top of the cliffs, Corbiere Lighthouse, which is a dramatic setting at high tide, St Aubin's has a quaint harbour, both Gorey and Elizabeth Castle are great to spend a half day, St Ouen's beach stretches for miles and St Helier caters for those that want to spend some time shopping.

Our lasting memory of the Biarritz Hotel is that feeling of calm, with an absolutely stunning view finished off with exceptionally good service throughout. The brochure says that it is a 3 star hotel with a 4 star service and we would definitely agree with that statement.

Thank you for a fabulous week!

Room Tip: Sea views with a balcony are absolutely stunning looking out over St Brelade's Bay
