What a lovely evening we had at Casa Mia! It was very busy but luckily we just about managed to get a table without booking as it was already a bit later in the evening. The service was first class and very attentive. The food is not just your typical pizza and pasta (though of course they do those as well) but also lots of fresh fish and seafood and don't forget to have a look at the chef's specialties too! They had a fixed price evening menu, around £2 for three courses; we tried lobster linguini from the fixed menu and I was a bit skeptical due to the low price but the meal was simply delicious. I would have been jealous if my monkfish hadn't been equally mouthwatering! Thanks to the set menu price the bill was more than reasonable too; I would have gone there the following day too but unfortunately they were closed for bank holiday. There was only one small problem at the end of the meal when the tiramisu was accidentally charged extra (brought to us by a different waiter) and not as a part of the evening menu but when we pointed it out it was promptly fixed with a big apology. I can only recommend this place.

We had two dinners @ Casa Mia, as we enjoyed our first so much.

At our first dinner, we had two appetizers, the Italian Meatballs and the Ensalada Caprese (Tri-color salad), which were excellent. Main courses included Veal Milanese and Sea Bass, both with hearty portions and were very good.

Our second dinner included the Italian Meatballs as a starter, and for dinner we shared the Chicken kabobs (Espetada) and Beef skewers, which were grilled and nicely seasoned.

While we did not have any pasta, they have a wide selection.

We stopped by for an early dinner while staying up the block at the Revere. Although the restaurant had plenty of tables when we arrived and plenty when we left, the staff only begrudgingly accepted us, saying "You have to be out by 7:30." We agreed to the terms, and cleared out with 15 minutes to spare, but service never really warmed up. The early bird menu was posted by the front door but not automatically offered to us. We asked for it, and the waiter seemed a tad peeved. That seemed at odds with needing us to clear out fast. We ordered off the early bird menu and the best dish selected turned out to be the seabass. Lobster linguini was also tasty, but tiramisu fairly mediocre. Overall our dining experience was just okay, and we are unlikely to return. Aromas restaurant across the street was superior in every way - quality of food, value, service, and atmosphere - and in the same price range.
