Stayed at Farlinch for one night whilst visiting the area. Didn't need to book when contacted the owner. Very easy going and relaxed. We paid 10ppn so £20 for me and my wife and the dog went free. We did notice that there were some other campsites in the area that were a few quid cheaper but the fact that we could just drive on, set up then drive off in the morning with none of the other usual rubbish suited us. Facilities are basic but adequate. Will definitely use again if in the area.

Ok so fairlinch may not have the most amazing facilities such as pools and electric hook ups. It has 2x 20ft cabins, 1 with toilets and one with showers witch work and are hot. Only slight issue would be the sand that can get on the floor but that cannot really be helped. Along side these is an area for washing crockery. There is plenty of room to pitch where ever you like in the field. Saunton beach is 3mins drive with croyde about 5mins. With these amazing beaches you do not need much else. The owner goes around on his quad bike through out the day having a chat with everyone and is very friendly. This place may not have it all but for its laid back atmosphere and location you cannot go wrong.

Great site if you're happy with basic. Beautiful views... friendly staff.... the ability to multi pitch and lots of space allowed 11 of us to pitch our tents together around a central cooking/eating area. We did however struggle to refreeze ice packs.... the icebox of a small fridge just didn't do the job. Too small and not cold enough. Also the old plug socket in showers/wash area wouldn't go a miss. We generally had a brilliant time though .

We absolutely loved this camp site, we could multi-pitch and there was always a good distance between other campers so it didn't feel cramped! The views were stunning even from the lower part of the field! The showers were spot on, easy tempreture change, lovely and hot! Toilets always kept clean! There's a place to wash up but only has cold water so you have to improvise! There is always someone at the reception hub so you can charge you're electricals or rotate you're ice blocks! We loved how relaxed this site was, we had camp fires most nights and could listen to music until late and it was never a problem! The farmer was so friendly and took the time to chat to us making sure we were okay! A 7 min drive to Sauton Sands beach which also met expectations! We will definitely be coming back here next year! Thanks again from the Brizzle lot!!!

Very basic but what else do you need? The grassy green pitch is thick, the showers are nice and hot, the loo's are clean and the views are beautiful. Not walking distanceto the beach but is a nearby close drive. No complaints :-)
