Absolutely beautiful B&B. Super clean, in a stunning location run by Mavis who keeps the ball rolling. The grounds are superb . Our breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, cooked, veggie anything you would want! Our dog loved it here. See you in 2 weeks Mavis for another stay! John, Tracy Jeff

This is without doubt an outstanding place to stay. The house is elegant and well proportioned and the interior certainly does not disappoint at all.Our room was large, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. .We had a fantastic mattress so sleep was so easy, the shower room spotless and well equipped. Dinner was beautifully home cooked and served in a superb dining room, followed by coffee in the conservatory. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with fresh fruit ,full english or continental. The hard working magician behind all this was Mavis, a hotess par excellence.Sadly we were only staying one night (en route for Cornwall) but we would love to return as the countryside is so prretty and deserves an exploration. Well done to the Knole Farm for such an enjoyable stay and special thanks to Mavis for a warm welcome and superb management/ cooking and hospitality.

Lovely warm welcome. Very comfortable room. Super bed - so comfortable. Peaceful
Surroundings. Excellent breakfast. Small but adequate en- suite. Armchairs and fridge in the room. Lovely garden and walks. Tavistock about six miles- a lovely little
town to spend a day. Would go again - to Knole Farm and Tavistock.

We had a great stay on this working farm on the edge of Dartmoor. The accommodation was perfect in this over 100 year farm house with spacious rooms and very tastefully furnished for that period. Mavis was the perfect hostess and served a heart breakfast if you so desired. Also very dog friendly as we took our two small dogs with us. It is very central for exploring the various interesting places ion the area and would highly recommend it for a stay.

Very well looked after by a cheerful Mavis, nothing too much trouble. Amazed that she still offers evening meals after our last visit ten years ago. Two or three courses of evening meal, each with a choice.
