Despite a few understandable teething issues in the reopening week the staff as usual impressed us with their kind caring and efficient service. the two we recognised as long serving staff outstanding

Great location, fabulous staff, excellent food. All the facilities you need in a hotel full of life. What more more can you ask for? Being the first weekend open after lockdown, all measures clearly in place and the hotel was clean and tidy. A great weekend break with friends.

Wonderful staff and location. Only problem was the long wait at meals, but it was the first weekend back after lockdown. A great hotel for all ages. I would recommend. Also great facilities, and everything sparkled and polished.

Needed to find a Devon Cream Tea after a ferry from Exmouth to Starcross, the number 2 bus to Dawlish, a walk around Dawlish (all the best Cream Tea locations were closed), so walked up the hill to the Langstone Hotel just as the rain started.
Lovely staff, delicious Devon Cream Tea. The scones are large, light, tasty and almost sponge like and the Clotted Cream was outstanding. All for £8.80 for 2 including a pot of tea.
Thoroughly recommend the walk.

Room tip: Loads of free parking at the hotel if you drive there. And lots of space and seating indoors and a delightful outside seating if the weather allows.
