It’s a nice site but could do with some TLC. It’s a drive to Woolacombe if you have kids and beach stuff otherwise a very steep hill.
Staff very friendly and the takeaway food is lovely. The shop is well stocked with good prices.

Really great campsite with ample space. There are assigned areas such as glamping and family.

Prices start at £20 a night for a non electric pitch including a car however if you book in advance you might be able to bag a bell tent for £26 a night ( there come unfurnished but are SO roomy )

There are washing up, shower, and clothes washing facilities on site. The water is pretty warm which is ideal for showers and washing up. No need to bring your own loo roll either as there was loads there.

The reception also doubles up as a take away and serves delicious food at a really good price. There is also a small shop which sells general camping bits and bobs.

The site is about a 5 min drive/20 min walk down to the centre of woolacombe itself.

If you are looking for a wild night on the campsite then this place might not be for you as stricter guidelines on noise are enforced after 10pm.

We stayed here with our 4 year old girl and 2 year old twins on the bank holiday. It was such a great spot to visit some stunning parts of North Devon. We braved walking down to Woolacombe on the off road path, it was a trek (an hours walk at 2 year old pace) but it was an adventure. We drove the next day! The campsite is so family friendly. Our kids went off on their bikes and we could watch them playing from the tent. The play area was a major hit where all the children congregated. The shop was so reasonable and had all the essentials. Great take away food with a friendly service. We loved visiting the farm animals each day. The facilities are basic but you have what you need. Overall a gem of a campsite that's priced how campsites should be. We'll definitely return.

Beautiful setting just a short walk from Woolacombe village and about an hour and a half over the dunes to Putsborough beach. In my opinion on of the most beautiful beaches anywhere. The pitch we had was plenty big enough for our pretty big motorhome electric hook up worked perfectly. The ground was a bit soggy but no-one to blame but the best of British weather!
Owners really nice and helpful.
Showers and toilets clean and new with loads of hot water. I'd recon in peak season it would be a bit of a struggle due to the relatively low numbers of showers but when we were there it was very quiet so not an issue for us.

Room Tip: Talk to the owners before arrival they are really helpful
