Hotel was in a lovely position opposite Holy Isle. Bar was friendly and the restaurant was good and handy when you arrive and want a meal without checking out all the food joints. Friendly staff and a nice dog friendly hotel, but people with allergies might want to check first.

Room Tip: The top room has a nice view of holy isle but it's up 2 flights of stairs and has a sloping roof...

Dear Guests,
Thank you for staying with us at Lamlash Bay Hotel. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay and the beautiful view to the Holy Isle. Arran is a very outdoorsy kind of place and being dog friendly is a plus for lots of visitors. Our ratings are good for cleanliness and we haven't had problems with allergies, though as you point out people with severe allergies probably would want to book somewhere that doesn't allow dogs.
Thanks again and hope to welcome you back again soon,

We stayed at the Lamlash as part of our honeymoon. Not been to Aaran before although the weather was a little disappointing & we only managed to see few of the stunning views the hotel, owners, staff & island did not disappoint .
We will be returning at some point to take in more of the stunning views

Room Tip: Beautifully decorated & furnished very comfortable

The friendliest staff and very comfortable rooms, at good value rates. Book with the hotel direct, not via an external website, for the best discount. Early bird dinner menu at £8.50 is highly recommended, and we ate this in the bar, although it is also available in the hotel dining room.

The lady who does an excellent job of cleaning and turning the rooms around is to be commended - we never saw her stop! Room and bathroom was spotless.

Hotel is ideally located for exploring the island and only 10min drive to the ferry at Brodick. We were made to feel welcome from first stepping through the door and would happily go back to this hotel again.
