Stayed at The Lamlash Bay Hotel for my Uncle's 50th Birthday. There was 25 of us staying (we were lucky enough to rent out the entire hotel) and most stayed Friday-Sunday.

Upon arrival we were greeted by Meg and Serge, who were very welcoming and friendly. They showed us to our rooms which were lovely and clean. I stayed in the family suite which was fantastic, two rooms, a kitchen and a living room. The hotel had a friendly atmosphere, with a cosy bar and restaurant.

The food was great, and the bar was reasonably priced. Service for the meal on the Saturday night was excellent, there was 25 of us to be served and we were not kept waiting.

Thank you so much to Meg, Serge and the rest of the staff for being so accommodating throughout our stay. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

My daughter and I arrived mid-evening on a Friday for a two-night stay and discovered that there was a small mix-up with the reservation. Meg and her staff went far above and beyond the call of duty to fix the problem, accommodate us and make us feel at home, despite the fact that it was a very busy evening with the restaurant and the pub both packed and demanding their full attention. I really can't say enough about how great our experience was here, and would recommend it to anyone both as a place to stay and as a great spot for dinner or for unwinding in the evening (definitely the best pub in the village). Breakfast in the restaurant was hearty and unhurried with lots of options. Our room was excellent, with a very nice view across the water to Holy Island.

Stayed here as three adults on Sun 22/10 for one night. We were allocated room 4 which had two double beds. We had a view of Holy Island and the bay. The room and bathroom was clean and well presented. tea/coffee facilities provided. We didn’t eat in the hotel but had drinks in the evening. The bar was warm, friendly and reasonably priced.
Breakfast in the morning was also good.
We booked using booking.com and paid £150. I think if you rang direct to the hotel, management may offer you a better rate depending on how busy the hotel is.

I would recommend

This was our first time in Arran it was lovely and the staff in the hotel were lovely. The food at breakfast and dinner was delicious. The rooms were very comfortable. The only thing that was a little off putting was the dogs were allowed to walk about in the bar and as it had been raining the dogs were a little smelly. We don’t have dogs and I’m sure this is an attraction for dog owners just not for me. But other than that the place was very clean and tidy to stay in.
