Ordered nearly £50 worth of food from here and was very dissapointed! The fish was like soggy cardboard, was unable to eat the squid as it was like elastic bands with soggy batter and the king prawns had soggy batter aswell. The only good things were the burgers and chips! Was supposed to be a real treat for the whole family! Defo wasnt!!!

The Wee Hurrie does a very nice fish and chips. It is tucked away beside Troon Harbour.
It is takeaway only and you might have to wait a while but it is well worth it!

If you like fish and chips this is the place (or plaice) to go. You won't get better or fresher anywhere. My wife and myself, and golfing friends, have been going there for years
and have yet to be disappointed.
There's lots more on the menu too, so even if you don't like fish there are other tasty alternatives, such as chicken or burgers.

Lobster, king prawn, huge portions of cod, haddock, tempura, cullen skink, - not your average chippy and hard to find at the back of an industrial estate,. Once you get there the view over the working harbour is fab! - it can be very busy at lunchtime and there are only a few seats inside. Everything is so fresh, and by that I don't mean the finished produce. As its next to a working fishing harbour everthing is fresh as can be - then when you order, it is cooked in front of you so you may need to wait, but it's worth it - the best chippy I have ever tasted. Worth a visit!
