Why does this hotel chain believe that an attractive facade justifies expensive prices for mediocre and tired rooms?

Stayed here as part of their Summer promotion rates. Room was at back of hotel tucked away with zero views.

The taps in the bathroom sink were so loose they moved around the sink as one tried to turn them on. There was a huge crack across the whole of the bathroom ceiling. Outside the room was a external generator or pump room which continually cut in and out and not making for a peaceful stay.

Breakfast was reasonable but service varied. Not recommended.

A 2 night stay, dbb, very good value. The first room we were allocated was very small and the hotel was full but we were upgraded (for a fee) for the second night. The deluxe room was lovely with a great sea view. We were allowed to bring our dog for £15.

The hotel is right on the golf course overlooking the beach and we enjoyed some long walks along the beach and the promenade.

The food was lovely, service was very slow in the restaurant on the 2nd evening. The first evening it was fine, breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice.

We would definitely stay again and next time we would book a deluxe room.

Room Tip: Book a deluxe or a suite

A one night stay with dinner. Hreat value. Welcoming staff friendly. Room clean and ok, albeit a tiny bit small, but only for one night. Usual extras in room (no earl grey tea). slight attention to detail required from some bar staff (had to ask for a wine cooler and glass was very warm), but overall they were very attentive. Dinner was delicious. Waitress was perhaps in training as service on the slow side and she was unsure what she was serving us, but perhaps I'm being pedantic. To sum up the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Food A star. Location good. Would we go back - yes as if you manage get on a special offer it is well worth the money. A lovely night away.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were treated well. We had our 89 year old mother with us and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Rooms allocated were terrific and restaurant food was fantastic and served on realy hot plates which makes such a difference. We visited this hotel last year and am pleased to say that the service is still great.

Room Tip: Sea View Rooms are great.

Came to spend new year's day at the hotel. In the afternoon we wanted afternoon tea. Only tea and coffee being served - no cakes or biscuits not even a packet of crisps!! We had invited friends to join us for an afternoon tea. This was extremely disappointing. There were children with us and hard to explain why NOTHING to eat. A very poor show for the standard of hotel especially on a holiday!! Won't be back!
