After a looong drive around the coasts of Skye, it was wonderful to arrive at this B & B to relax. Kate, our gracious hostess, warmly welcomed us and took us to our comfortable and clean bedroom with ensuite amenities. We appreciated her restaurant recommendation for dinner and were grateful that we could walk to it. She served a tasty Scottish breakfast and the homemade jams we sampled were an added bonus. The onsite parking is only for 2 autos otherwise it is across the road. Very good stay!

Room Tip: Definitely pays off to book an ensuite accommodation!

A lovely property and lovely host. Very clean and tidy. Lovely breakfast and a chance to chat with other guests who all seemed to love their stay too. The owner makes homemade jams and reserves and we only wish we could have purchased some but we had only hand luggage on our flight so could not take any containers over 100ml. Such a shame. We only had single beds in our room but they were so comfy. Best nights sleep in a hotel for quite a while. Our room was at the rear of the property and we slept with the window open and we could only hear the birds and a small stream. So peaceful. The only slight downside is that the shared bathroom could do with an update. The shower cubicle door had come off the runners and allowed some water to get on the bathroom floor.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the rear of the property for total peace and quiet.

This was your second - but hopefully not last - stay with Kate and her husband in Dunvegan. A new wonderful stay - fantastic breakfast - and lots of smiles af laughs with Kate. She's a wonderful woman and seems to know her guests - for instance, she gave us directions for a ruin cemetery on a little island. We were the only ones there. Perfect. The B&B is situated perfectly for all kinds of trips on Skye; Neist Point, The Storr, Talisker, The coral beaches, Skye skins and so much more are just a short drive away.

This was a nice place to stay. We planned this wrong, though - we spent a day in the Isle of Skye, the night here, then had to drive to Inverness early the next day. The woman who runs it does a fantastic job talking about the Isle of Skye and what there is to do during breakfast - unfortunately we had to leave part way through her talk (after we finished eating). Ensure you have at least one day to explore after spending your first night here. Oh, and she also makes fantastic jams and preserves which are included in breakfast and available for sale if you'd like to take some with when you leave. Definitely recommend!
