“Way too expensive!”

Clearly some lovely pieces that are well made but charging £50 for a medium sized "quality seconds" jug is going to be way too expensive for the majority of people. We had gone out of our way to get to this pottery so were left disappointed.

The shop was easy to find and the choice of ceramics was great. Right next to the Edinbane Inn too. Perfect.

This is a small, attractive artists shop that features the work of several potters. Two potters were working when we stopped in and we had a friendly conversation with one of them. I am very pleased with the small bowl I purchased as a gift for a discerning friend. I wouldn't drive across Skye just to visit Edinbane, but when you see their sign, stop and take a few moments to enjoy the local talent.

Stopped here where you can see the potters working
Friendly staff bought a few pieces but not put under pressure to purchase
Prices may be more expensive but pieces are lovely

We stopped and enjoyed the craftsman/womanship. Stop if you have time. You may find something that you want to take home. We had enough time to make the stop.
