Frances is a wonderful lady who took care of us and everything we needed while staying at her home. Just a couple of minutes after entering her home, we were invited for tea & cookies, which was just perfect after a long day of walking on the WHW. The house is always warm, the room is comfortable with a nice tea stand, and it is full of light thanks to the big windows. Breakfast was perfect and we really enjoyed staying over and having nice talks with Mrs. Lander. Thanks for everything (:

Very Warm and interesting couple with great stories. Facilities are just what you expect for the west highland way walkers- clean but basic. The breakfast the next day was wonderful with so many options! The home made jam was particularly incredible. We had a lovely time- thank you

When we arrived we were provided with tea and cake .The landlady and her husband were very nice indeed and I enjoyed their company. Facilities were very nice and a very homely feeling. If your looking for somewhere to stay in Drymen I would strongly recommend Lander. Thank you

Lovely b and b. The landlady was very welcoming, greeting us with cake and a hot drink upon our arrival. The twin room was lovely and spacious, with a small television and hot drink making facilities. The breakfast was a full english, inc toast, cereals, fruit. The location is ideal for whw walkers - just a few mins walk off the way, next to all the other b&bs. Highly rec'd.

My wife and I stayed at the Lander B&B on the first night of hiking the West Highland Way, having done 12 miles from Milngavie. The welcome from Frances was perfect, a nice cuppa and a scone. The room was spacious enough for my wife and I, and as we discovered as we continued hiking there is a major benefit to twin rooms rather than having a double. Breakfast was excellent, and throughout our time in Drymen, it was like being at home. Whenever we plan to be in Drymen again, we will stay at Lander, it is highly recommended.
