We've been to this pub many times before and have enjoyed the atmosphere and the big open fire.
On Friday last we phoned to check when they'd open...they said by 5 - 5.15
We arrived at 5.45 and were delighted to see a roaring fire and all the candles lit.
Unfortunately, the doors were locked and in spite if knocking, nobody let us in.
There were loads of staff up the back of the carpark having a bonfire - but they completely ignored us too.
It was a freezing cold night and we decided we couldn't hang around until someone could be bothered to let us in.
So the Inn lost 8 hungry, thitsty customers....and gained a place on our 'don't bother to go back' list.....
