Went here with my mate and his adult son while his wife was on holiday. We nearly turned away when we arrived as the grounds were in such a mess, overgrown, litter strewn and scrap lying around. The steps were covered in green algae and dirty.
We decided to take a chance and entered and went into the bar area on the right. We were greeted by a scruffy wee individual wearing a curry stained (once white) shirt and trousers which looked as if they were ironed with a cricket bat. Despite his appearance he was pleasant enough and took our drinks order and shooed us into the dining room.
It was cold, poorly decorated with huge damp or curry stains on the wall and overall run down looking. The pleasant wee waiter took our order and disappeared, no other staff was evident and no other customers were dining either.
The food arrived, three different dishes but with seemingly the same sauce, both in appearance and taste.
The food I can best describe as edible but not very exciting and definitely not worth recommending.
We finished our meals paid up and left.
Price wise the meal was reasonable but on reflection not that great value as the meat content was on the small side.
All in all one of the least enjoyable curries I've had and would not return
