Stopped off for a hot choc and cake on a cold, snowy day..... and what a great decision! Quick, friendly service, great hot choc...... and THE best brownie ever! And I’ve eaten a lot of brownies! Lovely little coffee cafe... why would you visit one of the big chains, when you can have perfection here?!!?

We were desperate to find any place open for breakfast and coffee before checking in at the ferry and were lucky to stumble upon this place. I had the vegetarian breakfast, which included the BEST veggie sausage I'd ever tasted. And their guest coffee was so good that I - an avid hater of coffee - got a small latte to go. And liked it. The staff was also incredibly friendly and lovely for an early morning.

A group of five of us went in for a quick lunch, red onion chutney was really some red onion chopped up , the chicken salad was processed chicken and iceberg lettuce , the chicken and bacon club panini was bland , the mozzarella and ham panini had so little filling in they may well have just brought the bread out , the only good point was the coffee was nice

Welcomed by smiling staff and aroma of coffee. Clean tidy decor warm and inviting. Too warm for our liking so we opted to sit outside.

Ordered fruit scone and cheese scone coffee and tea. Paid and settled outside.

We got our scones and began to butter them. I fear that they could have been yesterdays bake. My cheese scone was sweet and not savoury. the cheese was around the scone but not through it. Disappointing.

There were other interesting sweet and savoury things on the menu but i will not be back for a scone.

Toilets were up steep stairs. Clean and tidy
