Well organised place, clean and well run with friendly staff. We stayed in the Windsor Suite which is a large apartment with 2 separate bedrooms a large living room, full size kitchen with all the equipment you could possibly need, the bathroom is also large with a walk in shower and spar bath. The breakfast was very good and we had dinner in the restaurant for our 2 night say it was very good.More

Booked a room for my Mum & she had a very comfortable night. Great value for the room and breakfast. Had a drink with her at the Arches bar attached to the hotel. Lovely to sit outside in the sun as most tables had parasols. We sat under the pergola.

I stayed in the Windsor Suite of this hotel, it comes with a kitchen, living room, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. When I entered my room, I felt like I had just time travelled back to the 1970s, another person who has reviewed this hotel said that its like the hotel from the film The Shining and honestly it is. In our room, we had 2 tvs - neither of them worked and the signal was utter crap. Our bathroom in this hotel, didn’t have any air vents and the shower was unsatisfactory. This hotel is in dire need of a refurbishment. It overall just feels dirty and dusty, there were stains on my bed sheets, and in the restaurant, there were 2 separate occasions when I got breakfast, where I physically couldn’t bring my self to drink from the cups they had given to us - one had a lipstick stain on one, the other was just plain dirty. Even other customers were complaining about how dirty the cutlery, plates and cups were. The little things in this hotel are poor as well, like our fan we got from the reception was outright grubby, sugar packets in the restaurant were damp and were flakes rather than granules, the coffee was awful, our bedside lamps needed their bulbs changing, plug sockets don’t work and sausages were gristly. The staff were all lovely but it really doesn’t make up for the hotel.

No air conditioning in rooms so meant had to have windows open. My room overlooked the back of the bar so was noisy until at least 2am. If I was on a trip for pleasure it wouldnt be too bad but was here for work. Wasn't exactly cheap to stay either stayed in much better hotels that are cheaper.
Wouldn't stay again.
I'm sorry for the shortfalls you encountered during your stay. I do hope that you reconsider your decision not to stay with us again. We do have rooms that are away from the bar area should you require a quieter room.
A lovely clean hotel, staff were very attentive especially impressed with the younger members of staff. Food was good quality and very edible, especially the breakfast sausages. Entertainment from the singer/guitarist first class. I can highly recommend this hotel. Well done to all of them.

I walked in a thought I was walking into a colomendy dorm back in 1990, 2 old single beds for me and my husband but I wasn’t too lonely because the bugs in the walls kept me company! Beds were awful pillows awful
