We got let down by another local hotel on the day we were supposed to be travelling as I don't think they could be bothered to stay open for just two of us!! So, last minute we had to find an alternative and landed at the Caerwylan Hotel... I am pleased we did... nicely decorated, clean rooms, great food and service with friendly and efficient staff.
We definitely use this hotel when in the area again rather than the one down the road who we had used before but let us down this time for no real reason.

Room Tip: Sea views are worth the money

Fantastic location over looking the bay , easy to park outside the hotel. Rooms lovely and clean beds comfortable. The staff were superb, friendly and very helpful. Food good both in the evening and breakfast time. Would certainly stay there again.5 star for service location and cleanliness

Check-in was efficient and friendly. The room was large with a comfortable king size bed and padded headboard. There were plenty of power points for the usual array of devices one travels with these days that need recharging overnight. The big, spotlessly clean bathroom had fantastic water pressure in the shower as well as a large bath. The bathroom was off a small vestibule which meant the bedroom did not get hot and humid after a shower as so often happens in hotels these days.
All the staff from the managers down were, without exception, pleasant, courteous and totally professional. This appears to be a very well run, comfortable and attractive independent hotel. The bar and attractive lounge as well as some of the rooms look out over the beach and sea beyond. The dining room also has windows looking towards the sea on one side and the garden on the other. The hotel has an excellent and spacious restaurant which we used for breakfast and dinner on both days of our visit. The breakfast was perfectly cooked and the dinner menu had a good range of dishes. I particularly enjoyed the plaice fish dish. The free wi-fi was a decent speed. The hotel has a lift however there are between 2 and 7 stairs from the lift to the rooms on each floor. On arrival and departure we were given assistance with our heavy suitcases for which we were very grateful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

From my very first call to book our break to 0ur return booking for next year on our last day the team at this hotel has gone above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional .the hotel it self is well appionted and tastfully decorated throughout the room we had gave us stunning views of the beach castle and mountains it was spacious and comfortable . The lounge and bar area are a pleasure to sit in and have a good atmosphere along with a well stocked bar and wine list with knolegable staff who go out of there way to answere questions or offer advice were required over our three nights stay Rachel was looking after the bar and she was so enthuseastic about her job and place of work as well as sociable with all the guest it made for very enjoyable berfore and after dinner conversation well done michel and francis its lovely to have staff hold you in such high regaurd . We found the food very enjoyable good quality ingreidants well sourced and cooked .Perfectly presanted by your lovely team .
