Had a great stay here at whit week. Lovely site in a great location. Really enjoyed some cheeky drinks sat outside new horizons in the sun when it appeared good entertainment at night too. Food at Nemo's cafe is spot on great selection to eat in or takeaway and the chicken tikka Kebab wraps are amazing. Also enjoyed many ice creams there and slushies from the new slushie machine.

As seasoned campers and caravaners we know a lot about what to expect. This site is in a lovely position in a lovely part of Wales.
There are several areas that need serious attention
Showers and toilets totally inadequate for the number of people on the site. The shower just dribble out and the water luke warm. A poorly designed water system that fails in every way. We had to wait over 20 minutes every day to go to the toilet
The noise on the site was unbearable with no. Ontrol from the owners whatsoever. Radios and loud music playing into the early hours without care or consideration for others.
Football was played everywhere with our car and caravan being hit on a regular basis.
Dogs running loose and barking continuously even though the signs say dogs must be kept on a lead.
Generally this is a camp site with no controls or discipline. There is no layout or planing. We had a nice pitch when we arrive only to find that we were virtually blocked in by others .

Room Tip: Avoid plenty of other sites offering better service

This place is my favourite place on earth and I have traveled a lot! We came to this site many years ago and have recently returned in April. We stayed in a dog freindly caravan and found it adequate. As you can imagine the caravan was a little dated but spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We came in low season and it was so peaceful, long walks along the beach, sitting out on the decking it was fab.
I have read the other comments and can honestly say that we never had a single complaint. Staff were lovely and very friendly. We have booked again in June and I am more excited about going back than going to Cuba in september.

I visited the Sunnysands Caravan Park for the May Day Bank Holiday weekend with my family and we had a enjoyable weekend.
The site is well maintained and the condition of the caravans were excellent with all those hired by our family being 1-2 years old. The amenities on the site provide for all needs, launderette, bike hire and a shop holding a good level of essential supplies. There is a club house with a good selection of beers, including a good pint of Guinness. Daily entertainment for the children is provided by Mr Sticks.
The restaurant on site is a good choice for Sunday lunch.
Any minor moan was the site chip shop as the chips were dry and hard, it maybe the pre-cooking or the choice of potato; I suspect it's the combination of both the potato and the method of cooking.
