“Wow, just perfect..”
Reviewed 11 September 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We stayed as a party of 7 at this wonderful cottage back in April 2017, the location is just perfect with views to die for of the surrounding Countryside. The cottage just beautiful inside with all the modern amenities and very comfortable. The outside play area for the children is just hours of fun for them, allowing us adults to sit back and relax over a glass wine in the outside courtyard whilst keeping an watchful eye of the children. Everything is in easy reach of the cottage for days out, with the nearby beach being only 20 min's away.. We loved our stay here and will be booking again in 2018 if available.

Thank you so much for the lovely comments. The property is at a dead end so it provides a great location for families. Lots of care has been taken in design and decoration and good to hear that it gave you such happy memories.
Hope to welcome you back again

“High standard accomodation”
Reviewed 16 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

This is a lovely property, quite close to Machynlleth so lots to do nearby (transport is a must). Good size bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Helpful and friendly owners. Great communal rooms with all the facilities we needed.

Thank you for booking with Best of Wales and your lovely comments. I have stayed in the cottage which has the most amazing views. It is at the end of the lane which makes it very peaceful and an escape from every day life. It is spacious and provides opportunities for the whole family to gather or disappear to play in the games room. I am sure that our property owner will be very pleased to hear that you felt welcome and that they were helpful.
Machynlleth has some lovely local shops and lots of places to enjoy a coffee and cake as you browse. It is an short journey to the coast and so you have the best of both worlds.
Hope to welcome you back again soon
Regards
Suzanne

Thank you for your lovely comments and booking with Best of Wales. Great to hear that the whole family had such a good time. The scenery is stunning and with views across to Cadair Idris, it really is pretty special. Given it is the last property on the road, it is secluded and provides time and space to enjoy that glass of wine. It gives options of visiting the country and coast, which is a great combination.
Be great to see you again soon

“Fantastic cottage, happily recommend.”
Reviewed 25 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

The photos are accurate, this cottage is as nice as it looks.

We were welcomed by freshly baked cherry scones and some fantastic views. This property was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you could ever need in the kitchen.

Great walks right on the door step and a lovely pub in the village (although it is a pretty steep hill to climb on the way back from the pub!), what more could you want?

Thank you for your lovely comments and booking with Best of Wales. I visited the cottage and sampled the scones, they really are lovely and eat outside to enjoy the stunning views. The local town of Machynlleth offers lots of lovely local produce in the market but maybe the local pub is just about all you need.
Be great to welcome you back soon

“Fab stay in a characterful, but modernly equipped property in a great location”
Reviewed 18 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Thoroughly enjoyable stay in a wonderful old barn conversion, which has been done out to a very high standard. The property has all the modern conveniences, and a whole lot more, including a wonderful play area for young children, and a full size pool table for the older kids... The property is in a wonderful, quiet location, with far reaching views of the mountains. The property owner s were very hospitable, and I could not recommend this property more!
