Stayed here for 2 weeks this month after checking out the restaurant/cafe last year and getting a good feel for the place.

Stayed in a ground floor room that had a back patio area, and the front looked out onto the pool. It was a perfect location to meet other long-term guests of the hotel and visit with Dora the resident dog as she did her rounds.

Our room had a kitchenette, separate bedroom area and couch/tv area.

The staff here are great. Constant maintenance going on by the staff to keep the place in tip-top shape. Maintenance staff are on site daily to fix or help out with whatever is needed.

Enjoyed our time here, and if you decide not to stay - at least check out their restaurant/cafe. The coffee is amazing and pizza is too.

Management speak English well. It was easy to communicate with them and a pleasure to have the opportunity to get to know the staff, management and family that operate this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms on the main floor are for shorter term rentals and a little less maintained compared to the upper floors. There are no elevators, so if mobility is an issue it may be best to be on the main floor.

I visited the restaurant at this hotel multiple times in the week I was there. I visited January 2014. I found the staff very helpful, and spoke enough English that a conversation with them was easy. This is a family owned hotel.
The food here was extremely good. My favourite was the pizza that always was hot, and had fresh ingredients. I had one breakfast here and loved their pancakes. It is a fairly quite restaurant, but within a 2 min walk to the beach.. Great place to cool down and have a beer/water.

I have stayed in this hotel for the last five years. It is very close to the beach, the bungalows are roomy. What I especially like is the bedroom is separate from the living area. It is not modern by any means but you feel like you are in Mexico when staying there. The rooms could use a little cleaning and painting now as they years are starting to show. But the family that run this hotel are lovely and there is always someone round if something goes wrong, The pool is clean and cool, the new pizza and cafe is good and always busy. Overall it is a great place and full of clients that have returned year after year. Kinda like family now!
