This is the third time I’ve been to this restaurant over the last couple of years and it continues to impress. We have been for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and just date night. We always order the lamb pancakes and the soft egg with seafood you will not be disappointed. The soft egg is not quite an omelette, it’s almost as if they put huge prawns, scallops and eggs into a massive wok and flash cooked it for just 30 secs -absolutely delicious. Their house fried rice is better than any standard fried rice with large prawns, egg and bbq pork in it. This time we also ordered the san Choy bow and it was super hot and fresh, one lettuce cup is huge. Sorry there’s no photo of this, was too busy getting it into my mouth!! You must book for this restaurant, it’s been around for an eternity and the customers have been coming for years, so you will not be able to just walk in on a Thursday-Sunday night. It’s great for couples, families with small kids, friends, birthday celebrations - they are very accommodating and also have a private room. The staff are very attentive and the food comes out very quickly, you won’t be waiting long for anything. You could get away with having a cheap night here if you didn’t over indulge but it’s hard not to ;)

As we traveled around Australia, one of the things on our to-do list was to get some good Chinese food. Dinner at Lees Fortuna Court fit the bill. All the dishes we ordered were tasty, though we were a little surprised that the barbecued pork just included pork with no vegetables. It was still good but maybe needed some other flavors to accompany it. We went on a Saturday night and the place was crazy busy (our hosts in Sydney had to finagle their way in when they called to reserve a spot). The food came quickly regardless, so we were happy. Parking is a bit tricky in the area during busy times.

We have tried many Chinese restaurants from City to Pymble and we keep being disappointed than none can match Lees Fortuna Court. The consistent quality is just outstanding. Friends recommend other alternatives, we give them a try but then go back to Lees.

My personal favourite selection is as follows:
1. Vegetarian Spring Rolls
2. Lamb Pancakes
3. Sang Choy Bow
4. Honey King Prawns
5. Sizzling Filet Steak
6. Sizzling Chicken in Plum Sauce
7. Mixed Chinese Vegetables Stir Fry
8. Large Fried Rice

The service is generally very good but sometimes when the restaurant to full to overflowing with the private rooms in use as well you have to be a little patient. Enjoy the company of the table and just relax.

The waiters and other staff are exceptionally good with children as well.

I am not sure it is the place you would go just with your wife or girlfriend even if you really like Chinese but if you are with your family, a few families or a group of friends it is a great option. You won’t be disappointed.

I love being treated like a member of the insider's group every time I visit. The duck pancakes are perfect, and we always just let the team there know what we like and let them bring the right items to the 'lazy susan' for us to pin and share. We tried the Chinese omelette this time, and I'll be asking for it in the future. Business lunches are no issue: the staff know how to serve, and when to blend into the woodwork...while watching to assure we've got everything...just right.

Went to Lee's Fortuna Court during their opening week 40 years ago and have had numerous lunches and dinners since and it was great to see old wait staff (especially Allan)
Stanley still welcomes the guests and always has time for a chat while organising the floor staff. It is a special place for my family - three generations.
