Decided to visit here due to the rave reviews! We weren't disappointed. Service was friendly and welcoming and food and drinks a little out of the ordinary which is what we like! Very pleasant evening and would come back again.

When you walk into a restaurant on a Weekend day at lunchtime and it’s empty it isn’t a great sign..
The service was friendly and the wine was lovely.
The pork belly was divine but the lamb shank whilst tender, had a very sweet sauce which I’m not sure if I overly liked. The ‘seasonal veg’ at $9 was just plain broccolini which I found a bit of a joke.
$100 for two at lunch including drinks wasn’t bad. But at $35 for a main course I expected slightly more.

Not impressed at all...

Waited well over an hour for mains while the table next to us that arrived 20mins after us got there’s well before we did.

Sides for the mains came out about halfway through our wait so were mostly finished and cold by the time mains arrived.

Tables are not big enough for tapas.

Lamb was way too sweet.

Beef cheeks too salty.

For a restaurant where lamb was supposedly the star dish, no Cabernet to be found on the wine list (by the glass).

The Shiraz on the list was a poor match for the sickly sweet lamb.

$9 bottle of San Pellegrino served in a plastic bottle... this is small, but seriously... if you’re going to charge $9 for water, at least buy the glass bottled version.

Travelling and eating out a lot, I go to a lot of restaurants and this was by far the most disappointing experience I can remember.

I have no idea how they’re rated #1 in manly.

3  Thank Ryan N
