A mate and I shared a room, 1 double bed and 1 single bed for $140 a night. The room came fitted with a TV , microwave , fridge and a few complimentary teas and coffees. The beds themselves were a little uncomfortable probably due to their age, but we still managed a decent night sleep. The Motor Inn is well situated right off the main street so it's a 5 minute walk to pubs , shops and restaurants.

We arrived at 11:30 for 12pm check in. The lady at reception wasn't welcoming at all and said we would have to come at 12pm.
The location is within walking distance of the Main Street and really is in a good location. The room was a decent size if all you are doing is sleeping in it. The lack of pillows and mattress were disappointing- glad we had our own pillows in the car.
We stayed with another family and had planned on having a BBQ at the hotel for dinner- as stated on their website- but when we asked about it we were told they no longer have one, maybe there is one in town somewhere.
The water in the shower was shocking- one minute it was cold the next minute it was boiling hot, then it was cold then hot again.
Upon checkout the lady at reception asked if I had paid to which I replied my husband did upon check in. She said I'm not accusing you of not paying but could you confirm with your husband as the staff member that checked him in hasn't ticked the right box!!!
This hotel has so much potential, it's in a great location but we will try somewhere else next time we visit beautiful Beechworth

Stayed there for one night. Nothing fancy about this place. Greeting was ho hum, room average, bed terrible (they need updating), bathroom small (cannot dry yourself in there comfortably) no tissues. Overall average and i won't go back again.

Our last night at a motel of a ten day trip/holiday. We did not plan to stay in Beechworth, therefore, did not book ahead. We had coffee and cake and decided to stay the night. Called this motel to see if they had a room. As it was close by. The lady was very very nice and accepted our booking over the phone. We arrived a little later and reception was very nice once again. She even went to the room and fired up the air con to take the chill of the air before we arrived. Sensational. We found this motel to be so very quiet and so very comfortable. Coffee pod machine. A metal electric kettle for us green tea drinkers. Yaayyyy. Good size TV and generally a great comfortable room. Splendid nights sleep.
Thank you...

Wonderful place to stay. You can park your car and walk everywhere. Just a short stroll to everything in the main st. From all the quaint shops, to restaurants and to most of the Historic attractions. Or go ride a bike along the tourist bike track. Get in your car and visit some wineries or olive groves. And just a short drive to Bright and the snow fields. Go on. Visit Victoria
