We were on a three week driving holiday from Melbourne, heading to the Eyre Peninsula via Kangaroo Island; in the Vic/SA school holiday period.
We rated this accommodation for the following reason:
V.good TA reviews
Price
Wi-Fi excellent: the best speed we've ever experienced either here or OS
Location is central: not that this is a game changer in Dunkeld
Very friendly staff/owners at reception
The cottages are dotted around the property and are private.
Lovely garden setting
The cottages are beautifully presented and is a credit to the taste of the owners, clean comfortable bedroom, nice linen, tasteful bathroom, good shower, fridge, car park outside our room, very quiet, kitchen well equiped BBQ if required. Nothing required for a nice stay.
Highly recommend.

Amazing value for money with considerate and friendly owners/staff. Quiet, relaxing and clean cabins with everything you need including tea, coffee, hot chocolate and magazines. A fully stocked kitchen with crockery, pots, pans and utensils. I would definitely stay again.

What a lovely place to stay. We entered our cabin and it was very well appointed. The bedroom was a little tight but there was plenty of room everywhere else. Kitchen was a very good size. You could stay for a week easily. Comfortable furniture and a nice front porch. We woke up to see kangaroos eating right in our front yard. Picnic benches and firepits are provided but we did not use them. The setting is beautiful and the people are very friendly.

We stayed here in January when the temperature hit 44C. It was too hot for any walking so we relaxed in air conditioned comfort- Lots of board games to borrow. Great locality and excellent service. There is an open fire which would be great during the winter. Bicycle hire and breakfast baskets are available.

We stayed here recently to attend a family wedding and are never disappointed........The cabins are well equipped clean with all ammenities, comfortable beds and a lovely cozy ambience.....we were warm with the air conditioner and George was more than happy to light the wood heater if we had desired. Everything is well maintained and the surrounding natural bush garden is a delight.......nothing is too much trouble and George and Carolyn go out of their way to make sure your stay is everything you want.
