Description: Old world charm with new world style, this classic country hotel is at the heart of the Yarra Valley. We are now offering great food, seven days of the week using the best of the season and region. Choose from a selection of smaller snacks and tastes to nibble on with your glass of local wine... Next, let us carve some of our famous K&B charcuterie; Italian parma ham, bresaola, Spanish salamis, and our house made pork, veal and pistachio terrine... served with crusty bread, little pickled vegetables and caper berries. Our kitchen are slow cooking local lamb shoulders for 12 hours... and roasting local Berkshire pork belly. Finish with Sophie's selection of perfectly ripened cheeses, hand picked from our copper cheese cabinet in our providore, Kitchen & Butcher. Our new menu also features hearty classic 'pub style' dishes to satisfy the hungriest diner.

I recently spent a weekend in Healesville with the Missus and scored some major brownie points with our romantic dinner in the dining room at Healesville Hotel.
The attentive staff here went above and beyond service excellence, and the food, wow, what can I say. This was one of the most memorable meals I have eaten.
We shared entrees of the olive plate and whitebait which were both beautiful. The olives were fresh and rich with flavour.
Our mains were Coral Trout and Porterhouse, both cooked perfectly, and desserts were simply delicious. We had the merangue and the almond cake. Both were worthy of champion status.
We also had a few drinks out in the beer garden, and loved the ambiance. This is a fantastic hotel and we would most definitely eat here again. The food from the dining room puts many top class Melbourne Restaurants to shame.
Well done team

Sitting outside between the hotel and the cafe is lovely. Had the chicken and Salad with a local glass of sav Blanc. Great food and very relaxed, order your food then sit down and chill.

We're so glad you enjoyed your visit. We're having a lot of fun rotisserie roasting free range chickens on our new grill in the garden.
See you again soon!

Having had a disappointing meal experience the previous day at Melotos near Coldstream, to have found this wonderful restaurant the next day was a godsend.
This hotel restaurant has an impressive array of craft beers to enjoy either inside or within the exterior courtyard. We enjoyed one as we pondered the interesting menu.
We ordered the K&B charcuterie whilst deciding on a main; it was delicious. We then ordered the Roasted Berkshire pork belly in a cassoulet which we shared. What a stunning dish which we washed down with a lovely red wine from their extensive cellar. We thought we might then share a wood roasted chicken whose aromas were wafting our way from the outdoor rotisserie but the pork was enough for two and we were satiated; to a point. There was some red wine remaining so we ordered some cheese.
After a 20 minute or so wait we wondered where the cheese might be. On enquiry, it was found that the order had been 'lost'. They were super apologetic and the cheese turned up a few minutes later with two glasses of a lovely cabernet. Both the cheese and the cabernet were at no charge because as our server said 'it was our error and we want you to enjoy your meal and our hotel.'
If only we had the same excellent service at the error prone Melotos the previous day!

The ambience is great and the care and service of the staff is excellent.

The food is really good and the selection is so much better than you would expect from a place that calls itself a hotel. This place deserves a visit.

There is a good selection of local craft beers on tap.

It's a place to enjoy and relax.
