Us three friends stayed at The Tower Hotel. Nobody on reception but a staff member showed us to our rooms when she noticed us. At first the room looks lovely. But if we had have been sharing a room (we had one each) we would have been very uncomfortable. The reason is the toilet and shower sit in the bedroom. Only a flimsy bifold partition is provided in the vain hope of screening the toilet the user. There is no privacy for the shower at all. Even for loved up couples i am sure the toilet situation would be very unappealing

Bed was divinely comfortable. Air conditioners were hard to operate and with no staff in attendance by 8pm we were compelled to ring the help number as the room was hot and you cannot throw open a window as no flys screens are provided

Piano bar was not open for a drink. A comfortable stay would not recommend sharing a room

This motel is right in the centre of Marysville and within easy walking distance of the bakery, shops and restaurants. The motel has it's own bar which isn't open yet but will be an asset. The room was nice (lovely decor) except for the open plan style - the bathroom was part of the room so there was no privacy in the bathroom. A timber screen is provided but it's wasn't as good as having a separate bathroom. That was the only thing we didn't like about the room and I'm not sure if all the rooms are the same.

Room Tip: Upper level has a view of the hills.

Had a lovely two nights stay. room was immaculate. Didn't really like the open plan. Disappointed piano bar was closed. Also that the courtyard was inacessable due to repairs. Sadly a lovely village was extremely quiet. Receptionist Jessica was a delight. Lovely dealing with her.

I reviewed a lot of hotels before going to Marysville as this room was the best value. I was travelling with my Mum and needed 2 beds and they offered a room with queen beds each which was great and they were extremely comfortable. The rooms online looked quite spacious, very new and updated. However, with 2 queen beds, they are a little tight and not quite as spacious as they look. But the rooms are nice and decorated very well. The bathroom was also updated, but with no curtains on the windows, it was very hot in there after showering as the weather was very warm. The website also showed a piano bar and outdoor courtyard. We went down to the bar the first night at 6.30pm to enjoy a nice glass of wine or cocktail before going out for dinner and it was closed. As it's part of the reception area, when reception closes, it also closes so this was very disappointing. I was advised that it closed early due to there only being one person working in the motel over that period. I was there from Dec 28th to 30th 2016 so I would've expected that was a peak period and more staff would have been on. I didn't see a courtyard or was advised where this was. It is located in the main street within walking distance to everything so that was great and the one staff member that was on was very friendly.

Booked through Trip Advisor, the open plan upstairs room was great value for our 2 night stay.Late November being a very quiet time for Marysville, reception was only operating until late afternoon and the pleasant bar was not available. Receptioniste did her utmost to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Room itself was very comfortable and functional although the open plan upsets some but not us. Breakfast was not included but there are various options nearby. WiFi availability is a contentious issue.

Room Tip: Upstairs...two flights of stairs but worth the effort
