I lost my wallet in my car. I arrived at check in with my purse but no wallet! It fell out of my purse while I was valet parking! It had all of my cash and credit cards, I was petrified! Not only did the staff assure me it would be found but it was immediately retrieved for me by the valet staff along with contents! I was very impressed! My overall experience was fantastic! They were also well equipped to help with my mothers wheel chair! The Event we attended was superb and the transportation to and from the event was very easy, even with a wheelchair. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. The whole place is something you should experience! I can't wait to return!

My mom and I took a Bus Tour to Gaylord Opryland Hotel Nov. 2011. It's beautiful, the atrium and overall decor is amazing.

This huge hotel is where my annual conference took place this month. It is a beautiful, remodeled hotel and conference center with quite a few themed restaurants inside a plastic bubble. Really. You literally never have to leave the place. There is a gondola; there are bridges that take you over certain open air restaurants; there are plants and trees everywhere. Kids would definitely love it. There are also some shops and there are areas to go outside, if you choose. But if the weather isn't great; you never have to leave. I have to say that the food is incredible and I'm pretty picky. You can get down home Southern cooking or Japanese sushi and everything in between. There are several cool bars to choose from as well. There is also a shuttle which leaves every hour to downtown Nashville, specifically, the Wild Horse Saloon. I would recommend that as well. Bring your room key and you'll get in free. Explore downtown Nashville. Downfall about this place is that it is about 20 minutes from downtown and you do have to pay for the shuttle. Great place for a conference though!

Room Tip: My inside room had a balcony overlooking the gardens and restaurants. Great to sit and have a cup of coffee or a drink. But, could be somewhat noisy, too. It's a trade-off.

We were there with a group tour, so do not know specific rates, excellent breakfast was included. Luggage was delivered to our room promtly, staff was helpful and courteous. Atmosphere in hotel excellent, enjoyed walks, restaurants, and entertainment. Room was adequate and clean.

You will simply be amazed at the size of this grand place. It took me 3 stays to really find my way around. Super good restraunts and bars within the facilty. Shops and river rides, food court, water displays. One bar has very good live bands for free. The live plants, trees, and goldfish swimming in water displays are incredible. Spend the liitle extra money and get a balcony room, you will not be sorry. You are a couple of blocks from opra land and the river boat ride. Bass pro shop within walking distance. The place its self is a vacation alone.
