We happened to be touring this area of Nashville and we stopped with the tour group for lunch at the Hermitage House Smorgasbord. This is an old school, family run smorgasbord (buffet) with friendly staff and reasonable prices. We found the food to be very good and we thought that the staff did a nice job of keeping the quantities on display smaller than many places, but the quality seemed better. There is plenty of parking. Though fried chicken is what the Hermitage House Smorgasbord is noted for, there are plenty of other meat selections, as well as a large salad and fixins' selection.
