It took 30-45 minutes from Gatlinburg which wasnt bad especially since you are driving through the mountains and some scenic areas. The trek was an amazing experience especially if you love llamas. The first part of the trek was about 175 yards uphill which wasnt too bad, coming down was ths same way, a little tricky.
The whole tour everyone gets their own llama to walk, they are not difficult to navigate, they know what to do and follow along. We are not hikers so we didn’t know what to expect so it was a bit of a workout since we are out of shape.
Steve the owner and guide was great and very informative. His stories will extaunish you regarding how he got involved with llamas. The tour is well worth it for the price. Steve and his family puts all his dedication into the llamas and their well being. This is a must so while in Gatlinburg, we will be doing it again.
PS. The llamas don't spit.
