I love everything about this market. The custom sandwiches at the sandwich bar are fantastic. Choose from several types of bread, then choose your meat and toppings. Pretty simple process. Everything is fresh, well prepared and high quality. Market is a bit pricey overall, but sandwiches are a great deal.

We have taken probably 8 cooking classes at Central Market (both Dallas and South Lake locations). Such a fun way to gain a skill, drink some wine, meet fun people and have a wonderful dinner. For $60-75pp depending upon the menu, it's right in line with a nice dinner but includes a fun activity and some wonderful recipes to take home (The Christmas platter class was a total winner! I took it with my daughter and we were set for Christmas cookies for the holidays with 2 platters to take home).

I had lunch here today with one of my clients based on his recommendation. The self-serve salad bar here is massive. It is separated into three categories. Green Salads, Deli Salads and World Flavors. A real crowd pleasing selection. I got a little excited and filled my container to the rim. They offer all of the crowd favorites along with many types of fruit salad, tuna salad potato salad and several other exotic offerings you would not usually find. They charged us by the weight of our containers which worked out nicely. We set in a nice well lit area with lots of tables and outside patio options too. I will be back for sure!

I love CM, and visit it almost every day.
Huge selection of....everything.
I go with the weirdest recipes and the employees always help me find all the needed ingredients.
Huge wine and beer selection.
If you don't like to cook, no problem, they have lots of prepared food for you to take home.
Beware of the crowds during the weekends!

When I come to Dallas, I always have to visit Central Market. Their selection and quality are amazing. The have a wall of cheese! They have heirloom tomatoes! Even though it is a grocery store, for me it is like an old friend. If you want the best quality or items that are out of the ordinary, come to Central Market.
