This is one of the most authentic Korean restaurants we've been to. Lots of variety of Korean dishes to choose from and generous serving sizes too!

This restaurant is listed as Koryo Kalbi on Google Maps. Came here for my son's birthday, small group of four. Mostly Korean clientelle - a good sign when visiting ethnic restaurants. Julia was our server - very attentive, took our orders and had the food come out very quickly. Had dumplings and Japchae, both were tasty. Main dishes were teriyaki shrimp and chicken, and BBQ Gogooryo combination for 3 - ribeye, short ribs - all excellent. The meat was very good quality - you get what you pay for! More than enough food for 4. Would definitely return!

There are several good Korean restuarants located within a block of each other. I have visited all three and none of them are a bad choice. This one is a little harder to find since it is tucked back away from the street in a small strip mall. However, it is worth searching out. I can highly recommend the Dolsot BimBim Bop. I can also tell you that two of the korean vegetable side dishes they serve are stand outs. (The Kimchee and the spicey sweet cucumbers). I found the service staff to be very attentive and polite. This overall was a great Korean experience.

Also known as Koryo Kalbi Korean BBQ on google
Good things - Can't think of any.
Fair things - Japchae thankfully good serving size for $15 "appetizer". Rice fair sticky Korean rice. Forgettable chicken fried rice.
Bad things - service. Servers all rushing. Lady who took order kept trying to make us order more then she forgot one of our orders. Had to flag her, another server, the supervisor for our Teriyaki eel. We finished eating and it never came. Canceled order. Have to agree with other reviewers who thought that servers discriminate against people who cannot speak korean or who don't "flirt" or "socialize" with them.
Next- unrecognizable "ribeye" bulgogi for $20. Cooked in kitchen, came out beaten down macerated meat.

Just with any foreign cuisine, the smells may feel odd at first to some newbies. But, hands down, this is the best Korean food in this area and even in Dallas. The team is very attentive and friendly. The food is amazing, fresh and delicious. With each main course you get plenty side dishes with free refills. You can also do your own bbq Korean Style, if you are familiar with this fun adventure. I recomend the Dolsot Bibimbap, which is a hot pot rice dish with many vegetables that you mix and eat. and the Kimchi Jjigae, which is my all time favorite kimchi soup. Can't go wrong with this. Side note, it has pork in it (unlike some other places that offer a vegetarian version). I took mine out and the soup was still delicious. Great for couples or families.
