There is a relatively small open area with a large fountain (in which kids can play during certain hours) backed by a large mural on the side of one of the buildings surrounding the square, illustrating the city's longhorn cattle history. Other building facades are not unusual, old or particularly attractive, and restaurants on the square are outlandishly expensive. You can give it a miss.

We went the fountain’s were off but they had a concert and chalk art there are a ton of great restaurant’s. You can drink beer and relax. We had a blast and the kids had a great time also. Good family fun glad we did it. We are going to go back to Check the fountains out in a week. We ended the day with a carriage ride by a horse named bell.

Wonderful place to walk around. Read the historical plaques, go in the shops, eat some local food and people watch. Not crowded but very safe feeling. No place like Texas!

We visited Sundance Square one evening after dinner and had a lovely time! We had a leisurely stroll after stopping for ice cream in one of the shops. Our time there was a fantastic way to unwind, especially around the fountains! I'd definitely like to go again!
