I stayed in the Azalea room back in March after a stressful work week. It was the best decision I could have made. The room was delightful, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the hosts were a real treat. There was a whirlpool in the room that seemed to relax all my body tension and being able to sit on a balcony during the cool of the night and just enjoy the peace was lovely. There were plenty of electrical outlets in the bathroom (which is often a travel concern) too. The morning breakfast that was prepared for all of the guests was absolutely delicious, and I found myself sitting on the swinging bench in the backyard just admiring the grounds and falling in love with the tranquility of the space. I recently came back to the states after living in South East Asia and have experienced excellent service in my fair share of fine establishments around the world, from Paris to Istanbul. I never expected to find such a gem in Fort Worth, Texas, but the Azalea Plantation is absolutely charming. I would highly recommend staying here, and I will definitely be back once again.

My husband and I decided to take a last minute getaway the weekend of May 5 and 6. We were fortunate to find an available room at this lovely B&B, and even luckier to be able to upgrade due to a cancellation. We stayed in the Magnolia Cottage, which was very spacious and comfortable. We loved the big bathroom with the huge walk-in shower and Jacuzzi. The bed was comfy in a way that hotel beds never seem to be. From the warm cookies to the quiet garden spaces, everything was restful, welcoming and charming. The location was surprisingly convenient to local eateries, the Stockyards, and really everything we wanted to do.

Even the prettiest B&B is nothing without the hosts, however. Martha and Richard could not have been more friendly and helpful. I think our favorite thing about Azalea was breakfast: tasty food served with pleasant conversation and intriguing company. These folks have led interesting lives, and we heard some great stories. If you want to know anything about local history, cowboying or the Chisolm trail, Richard is your man. Martha is an accomplished woman with a twinkle in her eye, the type of Texas lady we always call a firecracker. They will make certain you are well taken care of.

We will definitely return, and I feel quite confident recommending Azalea Plantation to anyone looking for a top-notch place to stay in Fort Worth.

Room Tip: The Magnolia Cottage was spacious with a kitchenette, large bathroom and private entrance, great for a group

A truly memorable Bed & Breakfast experience does not happen by accident. It necessarily requires Innkeepers who know what they're doing, a beautiful home to do it in, unwavering attention to detail and an uncompromising desire to make their guests as comfortable as possible. Richard and Martha, Innkeepers at Azalea Plantation Bed & Breakfast, have what it takes to make your stay memorable. Their home is beautiful, the individual rooms are well appointed and feature private Jacuzzis, the breakfast is outstanding and the Inn's grounds are perfect for a quiet retreat.

The Inn is located on the near north east side of Ft. Worth with easy access to the Stockyards, Sundance Square and Ft. Worth's interesting cultural district.

We've stayed at many B&B's over the years and don't hesitate for a second to call Azalea Plantation the "best of the best".

Richard and Martha are the best! We enjoyed the Magnolia Suite to the rear of the main house, as it is very private and quite spacious. The breakfast was creative and outstanding both mornings. The bed linens are awesome and can be purchased on-site (we checked that box too). However, the most memorable feature will always be the conversations with the most genuine and welcoming host couple. They have a fascinating history together, and they cultivate a very homelike feel in this B&B. We also met eight wonderful mutual guests over the weekend, six of whom were return visitors (that says a lot about Richard and Martha, and what they’ve got going on there).
If you stay in Ft Worth, you must give Azalea Plantation a look!

You owe it to yourself to visit this B&B! Richard & Martha are fabulous! They made our stay "over the top" memorable!! We stayed in the beautiful Magnolia Cottage. It had every comfort of home plus a spa tub you won't want to get out of :)

The gourmet breakfast each morning is spectacular! The food presentation is excellent. We especially loved that Richard said the blessing each morning.

Richard & Martha are such interesting people and made us feel special & welcomed! We will treasure our 40th Anniversary plate and look forward to returning in the near future.
