Each batch is a creation of the owner. So many varieties and all are pure deliciousness. This is our go-to place for dessert wirh our grandchildren. Sure there's DQ and Sonic, but nothing beats homemade! Try the brown butter pecan!

I had a small cup of the fudge brownie ice cream. It was larger than just one scoop and was only $4.06 with tax. I like the atmosphere, especially the old photos on the wall. I recommend it.

This little place in a strip plaza was a delightful surprise. The young man who served us was so friendly and pleasant- he really seemed to take pride in his job and the quality of the ice cream that was being served. And the flavors were so creative and unique! Where I live (up north) everything is "cookie dough" or "cookies and cream" or "peanut butter cup." The Schoolhouse creamery had "red velvet cream" and so many other wonderful flavors that I'd never heard of. It's a good thing I don't live in Harlingen.... I'd be here every day!
