We really enjoy what Nature Walks theough this park. Many things to do here. Camping, trails, paddle boating, swimming, so much to just be out side and enjoy. Come on out and see.

The park is definitely one of my favorite places in Huntsville as it has a combination of sight seeing and activities. I particularly loved horse riding, and canoeing and its a safe place to just take walks in the woods and observe plants, insects and nature in general. I loved ot

This park is not far from the Sam Houston Statue off the I45 north of Houston, so you can combine both in a day.

Nice lake and you can rent a canoe. There are trails and picnic sites. Also camping areas if you want to stay. You can swim but only in certain areas as there are alligators in the park.

Saw lots of birds when I went which did get quiet close.

This park is very nice for campers, hikers, boaters and mountain bikers. The lake is large enough to get out on for some fishing. There is a well developed trail system. We were there for the wildlife. I was hoping to see some alligators but no luck. The birding was ok but not great.

I came down to visit fam and was pleasantly surprised to see a scuba facility. There are a handful of boats, platforms and rock formations to explore underwater, too! Visibility is so so. I was there in the afternoon and it was at 8-10 feet, but they said it's better in the morning.
