Owner description: A highly recommended park in northeast Texas with the largest natural lake in Texas and interesting swamp-land. This park is near the towns of Karnack, Uncertain, and Marshall.

The cabins at the State Park are very comfortable. The bed was very comfy, the cabin was clean, plumbing worked. I love Caddo Lake, and the State Park is an excellent place to base out of when exploring Caddo Lake. It is conveniently located and the cabins are a great value.

This park is the most unique of any of the state parks we have visited in TX. You almost feel like you have stepped back in time to prehistoric times. The eeriness is both beautiful and a little scary-at first. The park is very clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Restrooms are clean and warm -weather was cold and they had just installed heaters in them.

We were camping with friends and family. We were in a travel trailer, another couple were in a tent, and third couple rented a cabin. Everyone was very pleased with their site/accommodations. We all plan to return again in the summer when everything "greens up". We all would highly recommend this state park.

You can drive to the park or pull up your boat to the park. The walking trails are great and there is so much to see. We love to go here in the summer.
